The collections for our various projects are wonderful ways for each and every member of WCC to participate in Send Me!

Please review the list of needed donations below. If you are able to contribute, please drop off your donation in the church Atrium anytime after Sunday, April 7.

Honduras Youth Mission Trip Donation Drive

CARY HILL:

  • Twin sheets (especially men’s dorm)
  • Food storage containers
  • Paint brushes, drop cloths & rags
  • Dust masks and work gloves
  • Sewing measure tapes (for measuring children)

OMOA CHILDREN’S HOME & LOCAL SCHOOL:

  • Large pots/pans (for rice, sauces)
  • Large skillets (iron and/or coated for easy cleaning)
  • Sturdy cooking utensils (spoons, turners)
  • Measuring cups & spoons
  • Bath towels, hand towels & wash cloths
  • Dish towels & aprons
  • Storage containers for food
  • Tubs for school records & supplies
  • Coffee cups
  • Kitchen sink stoppers/debris catching screens
  • School supplies (notebooks, paper, pencils, etc.)
  • Craft supplies (glue, construction paper, tissue paper, safety scissors, etc.)
  • Warm blankets (20 total)
  • Basketballs and soccer balls

BIBLE INSTITUTE:

  • Men’s underwear (size sm/med)
  • Men’s socks and shoes (sizes 6-9)
  • Shirts/pants (sizes sm-med/28-32 waist)
  • Pencils & pens, spiral notebooks, composition books, notebook paper, sharpeners/erasers
  • Spanish Bible reference books

Homeless Cinch Sacks

Donations of hygiene items such as travel size shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toothpaste & toothbrushes, deodorant, chap-stick, small packages of tissues and feminine hygiene items, individually wrapped snacks, granola bars, peanut butter & cracker packs and bottled water.

Please, no hand sanitizer or mouthwash as these items usually contain alcohol.

Slate Hill School Supply Drive

Pencils: We need #2 Dixon Ticonderoga or Oriole in packs of 12. (We need a total of 1,400 packs of 12.)

Dry Erase Markers: We need Expo black markers with the chisel tip (low odor) in packs of 2 or 4. (We need a total of 1,540 markers.)

Common Ground Free Store

Donations of clothing or household items would be appreciated.

Food donations are also needed for breakfast.

Food Drive: Delaware

Non Perishable Food Items Needed:

  • White, wild and brown rice
  • Baking flours
  • Whole grain pastas & noodles
  • Shelf stable milk
  • Whole grain crackers
  • Cooking Oil
  • Whole grain breakfast cereals
  • Condiments
  • Unsweetened breakfast cereals
  • Sauces & dressings
  • Sugar & sugar substitute
  • Nuts & Seeds
  • Nut butters (peanut butter, etc.)

Non Perishable Food Items Needed:

  • Mac & cheese
  • Granola bars w/ fruits & nuts
  • Chili & beef stew
  • Canned meats, fish & beans
  • 100% fruit juice
  • Canned fruit (in natural juices)
  • Dried fruit
  • Ravioli and other canned pasta meals
  • Soups (hearty soups w/ meat and vegetables are preferred — low sodium options are appreciated)
  • Canned vegetables in all varieties (NOTE: we get a lot of green beans & corn — low sodium options are appreciated)
