How can we experience God’s Grace in terms of uncertainty?

It’s easy to become fixated on our challenges, rather than delighted in God’s blessings.

Sermon preached on May 2, 2021.

In our May 2, 2021 sermon, we used an illustrated video to compliment the study for the day. That video is owned and authored by BibleProject. We encourage you to visit the BibleProject website for yourself to check out their wide collection of videos to expand your knowledge on all of the books of the Bible. It’s definitely a wonderful resource for any student of God’s word.

  • Look at verses 1-5. Why is it important to know that this family was from Bethlehem in Judah based on what you know about that town’s role in biblical history?
  • Look at verses 14-18. What does Ruth’s response show us about her relationship to Naomi? What does her response show us about her relationship with God?
  • How might the intimacy in a relationship like this give us insight into God and how God works through relationships? How about insight into how God created people?
  • How do you deal with tragedy in your life? Do you see God’s faithfulness and provision for you when you are in the process of dealing with pain?
