King David: A Repentant Heart

The three ideas that we can gather from Psalm 51 are confession, seeking forgiveness, and renewal. Psalm 51 was written in the context of King David’s affair with Bathsheba after being confronted by the prophet, Nathan. He was distraught at the idea that he had sinned against God and wronged his country and cried out to the Lord for forgiveness.

The song that Lee references in the beginning of the video is “O Come to the Altar” by Elevation Worship.

Sermon preached on November 11, 2018.
