We have conflict, to some degree, everywhere we turn. One of the primary keys to healthy relationships is not the avoidance of conflict, but how to resolve it.
There seems to be three basic ways people respond to conflict: escape and run from it, attack the person that we’re at odds with or we strive to listen, understand and come to an agreement that both people can accept and make peace.
Jesus has called us to make peace. He said, “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God” (Matthew 5:9). If we don’t already know, it’s time to learn how to become a peacemaker!
