Singles Ministry

We are a Christ-centered ministry that exists to be used by God to educate, nurture, and equip single adults in order to make a difference in our community.

Our ministry makes every attempt to discover avenues in which members who are unmarried can find productive ministry outlets, to make the church their home. Some of those outlets may be church-wide and others are gatherings of folks of like marital status for encouragement and support.

If you would like to learn more about our Singles Ministry, please contact Alison Morrow or join our growing community on Facebook!

We would love for you to join us this Sunday morning for Bible study and fellowship!

ReFocus meets every Sunday at 9:45 AM. ReFocus is a group of singles whose ages range from thirties to sixties. Many of our members are post-divorce, though any single is welcome to join us! Feel free to stop by this Sunday morning.

Our DivorceCare support group is 13-weeks long and usually meets twice a year. We are a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. DivorceCare offers valuable resources to help you deal with the pain of the past and look forward to rebuilding your life.

We know that separation and divorce are some of the most painful and stressful experiences most people have ever faced. It’s a confusing time when you feel isolated and have lots of questions about issues you’ve never faced before. We’re here to help you get through it.

In addition to offering DivorceCare, we also offer DivorceCare for Kids. This group is a safe, fun place where your children can learn skills that will help them heal. DC4K groups blend games, music, stories, videos and discussion to help kids process the divorce and move forward. Groups meet weekly and are designed for children ages 5-12.

Please visit our DivorceCare and DivorceCare for Kids pages for more information about the groups that meet here at WCC.

Still looking for a group?

If you are in a place in your life right now where you need the support that a DivorceCare group can provide and we are currently between sessions, we strongly encourage you to visit the DivorceCare website to get a full listing of groups meeting near you. Don’t wait to get the help and healing you need.

And if a session of DivorceCare is currently meeting at WCC and you’re concerned about joining late — don’t be. Just show up. We’re always happy to welcome new people.
