Our Connect Class, led by Outreach Minister Jay Scott, will answer your questions about faith, baptism, church membership and our vision for WCC. We offer a relaxed atmosphere that allows for honest questions while we take a closer look at what we believe and how we respond to those beliefs. All are welcome to attend! Our next Connect Class is Sunday, May 5.
Baptism is the dramatic confession that Jesus died, buried, and was resurrected three days later. It is an announcement of faith, a proclamation of profound change, and an act of surrender to the crucified and resurrected Jesus Christ. If you would like to speak to someone about baptism, please contact us.
Next Steps is a quarterly class offered to anyone interested in discovering what it means to be a disciple. We dig deeper into the elements of worship, Bible study and expressions of serving our Lord and community. Our Next Steps class is designed to further develop some of the general topics covered in our Connect Class and we encourage those who wish to attend our Next Steps class to attend our Connect Class first. If you have any questions, please contact Alison Morrow.
Life was not meant to be lived alone and at WCC, Life Groups are an important to our fellowship. They provide an opportunity to spend time connecting with God and others through Bible study, fellowship and serving. We invite you to explore the various Life Groups that we offer and please contact us if you have any questions or would like more information.
Because our Community Life Groups meet in member homes, we do not publish their locations online. If you are interested in joining a Community Life Group, please complete our inquiry form and we will contact you with additional information.
Worship is about connecting with God and we endeavor to create an atmosphere that facilitates that connection. Through worship, we give God permission to transform not just our mindset, but our lives. We seek to encourage our church to see worship as a way of life so that we can make an impact on the world around us.
We offer three worship services every Sunday morning. Our traditional worship service is at 8:30 AM and our two contemporary services are at 9:45 and 11:00 AM. The Bible-based sermon message is the same for all three services, only the musical style is different.
We always have opportunities in and around the church for individuals, families and groups who wish to serve as well as frequent community outreach programs such as Send Me, VBS and Hunger Bowl. If you are interested in giving your time to the church, please contact us for information on service opportunities.
Thanks to your generosity, Worthington Christian Church is able to make an impact for Christ both locally and around the world!
